Product Introduction
Rock wool cultivation is a cultivation technique that involves planting plants in rock wool that has been pre-prepared. Honghai rock wool is made by melting 60% gabbro, 20% limestone and 20% coke at a high temperature of 1600℃. The mixture is sprayed into fibers with a diameter of 0.005mm and then pressed into blocks, with a weight of 77-80kg/㎡. It is an inorganic solid substrate.
Rock wool has excellent air permeability and water retention capacity. After being refined at a high temperature of 1600℃, it is sterile and pollution-free. Therefore, it is the main substrate for European hydroponic cultivation. Industrial rock wool and agricultural rock wool have different functions in production. There are significant differences in raw material selection, processing techniques, and internal structure. Therefore, in cultivation, it is emphasized to use professional agricultural rock wool and it is opposed to using industrial rock wool as a substitute.
